The Motorcar Office

The private office
for your collection.

More below

Two assets worth protecting. The cars, and your time.

The administration that comes with the cars

One car comes with paperwork.
A collection buries you in it.

Bills of sale, registrations, service histories, restoration invoices, insurance schedules, photos, transport quotes, storage agreements, and rally entries. Owner's manuals and operating instructions for the cars you take out three times a year. On hard drives, in filing cabinets, in folders held by different people in different places.

Then there's the day-to-day. When is the next service due? Who serviced it last, and where's their number? What was the tyre pressure on the rear again? What's the correct procedure for a cold start on that Ferrari it's been six months since you drove? The manual is in a folder somewhere at home. Not much use when you're in the garage on a Sunday morning, wanting to get out and drive.

The Motorcar Office is the private digital home for all of this. Every document, every service note, every valuation, every operating manual, searchable in a moment, on any device. When the car moves on, the record goes with it. Nothing lost to a fire, a flood, or the memory of the person who kept it. A car with its story intact sells for more than the same car with a folder of unsorted receipts.

The five-minute tour.

Or take the wheel and explore the demo yourself. Simply click on 'See it' in the menu above.

The key tools on the platform, and what each one does.

The overview Monitor, understand and enjoy your collection, like never before.

Over a dozen tools sitting behind one door, each doing its part of the job. Market prices tracked against real sales, upcoming renewals flagged in time, storage and rally dates in the right order, provenance drawn out car by car, and the stories worth returning to. Open the tool that matters that day, close it, and let the rest keep looking after itself. The pleasure of the collection, put back at the centre.

  • Every tool a click away, working quietly in the background
  • Values refreshed monthly against real market results, deadlines highlighted with plenty of notice
  • Provenance, correspondence and story, always to hand
  • Ownership as something to enjoy, not something to manage
The dashboard, showing the collection at a glance. Illustrative.
The Attention Panel Every issue a car has, logged before it's forgotten.

Intermittent electric windows, a fuel gauge that stopped working, a puff of blue smoke on start-up. The things a mechanic will ask about at the next service, that would otherwise live in someone's head or a note on a phone. Log it once, resolve it once, and it stays on the record for future reference. Your concierge will highlight and ask about any outstanding issues in your monthly briefing.

  • Sorted into clear categories, for example mechanical, electrical, cosmetic, or storage
  • Open items remain on the dashboard until they're closed
  • Resolved items become historical notes accessible from The Office

The Estate How much do your loved ones really know about your collection?

When someone else has to make sense of the collection, they need a starting point, not a mystery. The Estate takes what the platform already knows about each car and presents it as a single readable summary, addressed to whoever you nominate. Against any car you can attach an inheritance note: whether it should stay in the family, be sold privately, or sold via a particular specialist. Not a replacement for a will. A companion to it, in the language of the collection.

  • Nominate the people who should see it, when the time comes
  • A plain summary of the whole collection, generated on demand
  • Optional inheritance note per car, updated as things change
  • Sits alongside your formal estate documents, not in place of them

The Filing Room Every document for every car, organised and searchable.

Every document a car generates over its life. Bills of sale, titles, registrations, restoration invoices, expert reports, period literature, correspondence, and everything else worth keeping. The photos you tracked down over years. The emails with a previous owner about the car's history. The invoices from the specialist you always use. Your concierge will scan and sort your documents so they are organised by car and category, searchable across the full text of every PDF. Photographs and videos sit alongside, so the whole record of each car lives in one place. Functional, and usable, like never before. The hard-copy folders don't go away. They just stop being the only place of importance.

  • Type a name, place or year into search, and every document that mentions it appears instantly
  • Photo and video galleries phased by chapter of the car's life
  • Rename or refile a document without re-uploading
  • Delete with restore, so nothing disappears by accident

The Garage Your collection, on a single page.

Every car easily visible: the make, model and variant, which country it lives in, and what it's worth this month. Click any tile for the full file. The Garage has two views: a public one, for family, advisors or fellow collectors you invite; and a private owner view with the numbers, notes and detail only you should see. Can't recall the exact leather colour, the correct paint code, or which storage facility a car is in? The Garage has the answer in seconds. The front door to the platform, and the page you'll find yourself opening on a rainy morning.

  • Marque, model, variant, colour and current market value on every tile, grouped by where each car lives
  • Full-screen photo lightbox with keyboard navigation across every image on file
  • Live weather traffic-light per storage location, so you can see at a glance whether the day suits a drive
  • A one-click shareable summary of any car, to send to insurers, storage or transport suppliers, family, friends or fellow collectors
The Garage. Illustrative.
The Newsroom What the world is saying about cars like yours, refreshed hourly.

The platform watches the key publications that drive the collector market and matches what they publish to the cars you own by marque, programme, and variant. Stories that reference one of your cars appear at the top, and broader market pieces for wider knowledge follow underneath. So you walk into a post-rally dinner already ahead of the conversation.

  • Refreshed every hour, so nothing gets missed
  • Matched to your marque, programme and variant, so the noise stays out
  • Everything in one feed, so you're not clicking through various publications each morning
  • A separate Library sits alongside: a curated shelf of books on the marques, eras and personalities behind the collector world, worth reading whether you own the car or not
The Newsroom. Illustrative.
The Office Every renewal, registration and service interval, sorted.

Insurance renewals, registrations, storage agreements, and maintenance intervals. It's hard to keep on top of it all, and missing any of it leaves the cars exposed: uninsured, over-insured and costing you too much, under-insured and carrying an unnecessary financial risk, or without the care they need. Anything coming up in the next ninety days surfaces here automatically. When a fresh document arrives, upload it on the card itself, pick the validity, and the countdown resets on the spot.

  • Upload a new document straight from the renewal card and the timer resets, no admin panel required
  • Marque-specific maintenance intervals (service, brake fluid, cambelt, oil type) that recalculate the moment a job is marked done
  • Insurance cover flagged for review when a car's market value moves, so cover stays aligned with what the car is worth
  • Pre-filled renewal enquiries to your existing brokers and providers, plus a one-click quote from the market leader if you'd like a comparison
  • Jurisdiction-matched storage and insurance suggestions when a new car is onboarded

The Provenance Map Where your cars have been, from the factory to today.

Lose yourself in the history of your cars, laid out in a way you've never seen. Every ownership chapter, every restoration, every long stay, drawn from the documents and research you have on file, then plotted pin by pin on a world map by the concierge. Each pin carries the years, the role that chapter played, and the specialists or coachbuilders involved. It's the part of the platform collectors find themselves showing off the most, because your cars have earned their story.

  • Every location on file per car, from delivery to current location
  • The hands your cars have passed through, and the places they've known
  • A single per-car view or the whole collection at once, colour-coded by car
The Provenance Map. Illustrative.
The Rally Map Look back at old events, and plan new ones.

The events your cars have entered, and the ones they could enter next, on a single map. A collection has a season: shakedowns in spring, the big concours and rally weeks in summer, transport home in autumn, cars back in the vault by winter. The Rally Map lays the year out so you can see its shape and where each car fits. Your concierge will curate a shortlist of the world's most prestigious events, eligibility-checked against each car's marque, era and specification. The rhythm of the year, easier to see and easier to plan.

  • The world's most prestigious rallies covered, from concours to historic motorsport
  • See what each car could enter next, with the transport enquiry ready to send
  • Revisit previous events without dusting off old folders
  • As a rally approaches, the homepage counts down to it and features the cars taking part; during the event it switches to a live "Day X of Y"

The Saleroom Prepare a car for sale, without the hassle.

You've been through a lot together, but the day has come. Selling a car like yours often means writing the pitch multiple times, chasing photographs, calling different people, waiting on emails, and trying to find a USB or an old hard drive, all whilst hoping the resulting content lands well. The Saleroom takes what you already have on the platform: the ownership record, the car's details, the photographs and media, the documents, and the specialist reports. Pick what fits the recipient, whether a private prospect, an auction house, or a specialist broker, and fold it into a discreet shareable page that shows them exactly what they need to see.

Documents that would ordinarily stay private stay private. When you attach a paper from the Filing Room, the platform generates a redacted version for sharing: owner names, home addresses, prices, policy numbers, they're hidden from the shared link automatically. The Filing Room keeps every original intact. The intended recipient sees only what they should.

  • Pick a car, tick the selling points that matter, drop in a note in your own words
  • Fully integrated AI tools draft the pitch from the car's own record and the notes you add; regenerate until you're happy
  • Attach documents and media from the Filing Room, chosen to fit the intended recipient; sensitive detail is redacted automatically on the shared link
  • Minted as a private URL you can share with a specific recipient; revisions update the same page

The Handover Record When a car moves on, the full record goes too, instantly.

Every car in your care will pass on, eventually. Sometimes to a buyer you choose yourself, sometimes to a broker or through an auction house, sometimes to someone special to you. Your concierge can prepare a Handover Record when the time comes: a permanent, shareable page that carries every place the car has been, every event, every document and every specialist visit. Not a folder to find and pack. Not a hard drive to check still works and then hand over. A single link the recipient can rely on, hosted and cared for forever. The story stays intact.

  • For the buyer, the full record in one place: certainty about what they're buying, and the kind of provenance they pay a premium for
  • For the seller or the family, a clean, dignified exit, no digging through folders during the handover
  • For a broker, dealer or auction house, the evidence base a discerning buyer wants, presented professionally
A Handover Record prepared for a 1966 Ferrari 275 GTS.
Cryptographically certified Every Handover Record, verifiable forever.

Every Handover Record is captured as a canonical manifest and anchored to the Bitcoin blockchain using OpenTimestamps, the open protocol used by law firms, notarial services, and archival institutions around the world. Anyone reading the record, in five years or in fifty, can prove it is bit-for-bit identical to the record we published on the day of anchoring. Verification happens against a public ledger, independent of us.

What gets anchored to the ledger is a cryptographic fingerprint, not the record itself. The Handover Record lives at themotorcaroffice.com, hosted and cared for by us forever. Your active collection stays on your own private domain. The public ledger holds only the seal that proves nothing has been altered.

The Showroom What each of your cars is worth, and why.

Your concierge will update the values of each car each month against real auction results, adjusted for what actually moves a specific example: variant, rarity, originality, condition, provenance. The workings are shown on the page: recent sales carry more weight, sales older than two years are marked Historical and set aside. Every comparable can be opened up to see how well it actually matches your car, attribute by attribute, so a headline figure from a very different example lands with the right context. A per-car Momentum Meter answers two questions on one dial: whether the market for that spec is building, holding, or going in reverse, and how the car itself has appreciated since acquisition.

  • Open any comparable to see how it stacks up against your car, attribute by attribute, with the platform's reasoning shown for each
  • Variant-aware matching, so it's easy to spot which comparables actually compete with yours and which don't
  • Weighted by sale date, so recent trades matter more, giving you what the market thinks now with the longer trend still visible
  • Sales older than two years are marked Historical and excluded from the current figure; every comparable has a direct link to the source listing
  • Add a private sale you've heard of, or exclude a comparable that doesn't fit, and the figure recalculates
  • Consider-selling prompt when a car has appreciated significantly

The Specialists Your network, extended.

You already have your people. What takes time is the surrounding admin: finding a workshop that knows the marque when a car is a long way from home, storage that suits a new arrival, transport to a rally in a place you've never been, or the right auction contact for a car you're ready to sell. The platform holds a curated roster for each and pre-fills the enquiry. On the auction side we've partnered directly with one house, so you reach the right person with the right information, like never before. And if you already have someone, the drafted email goes to them instead.

  • Marque specialists rather than the nearest garage, and where a car has been worked on before the platform already knows: it reads those workshops out of your own invoices and puts them first
  • A curated storage roster, every facility scored against the ten checks a serious collector runs
  • One-click transport enquiry pre-filled from the car's current location, or set up for a rally with location and date already in place
  • The right auction specialist for the marque of the car you're selling and its jurisdiction, reached in one click with the details already filled
The Specialists. Illustrative.
The Timeline A car's whole life on one page.

You have lived an interesting life, and so have your cars. See it all laid out chronologically, with more detail than you realised you had. Your concierge will take all the information available and include this in The Timeline, which puts each car's story on one thread, oldest event first, ready to revisit whenever you want or share whenever you're asked.

  • Every entry tagged by the nature of the event
  • Your acquisition of the car appears with price and seller alongside
  • Restoration phases and rally entries appear too, added automatically when they're logged elsewhere on the platform
The Timeline. Illustrative.
The Weekly Briefing Your curated brief, every Monday morning.

The concierge will produce a brief for you at the start of every week, in addition to a monthly video message update, or a call if you prefer. What's moved in the market for your specific cars, what's due for renewal or filing in the next thirty days, what the collector-car press has published about the marques you own. Removes the "what should I be paying attention to this week" question entirely, and you know you're on top of things.

  • Personalised to your collection, delivered every single week
  • Market moves, renewals due, and press mentions in one place
  • Monthly video update from your concierge, or a video call with them if you prefer

How we work

Bespoke, by design.

Each client gets the same platform underneath, but with a different domain built for their collection. The product isn't a sign-up. It's a service set up and maintained around you.

Solid and secure

Every collection sits on dedicated infrastructure in the jurisdiction of your collection. Encrypted in transit and at rest, HMAC-authenticated deploys, nightly snapshots, formal disaster-recovery drills. Optional dedicated per-client hosting or an enterprise cloud tenant for larger collections or IT-strict environments. No tracking, no ads.

Functional and flexible

We handle the domain setup for your collection, consulting with you on the name. Values and totals display in dollars, euros or pounds, whichever you prefer. Access is gated behind two levels: a guest level to view the cars without financials or locations, and the owner level for everything else. Everything you upload stays yours, and can be exported in full at any time.

For today and tomorrow

The wheels keep turning, and the site doesn't stand still. The platform will develop with the collector world it serves. New tools will be added, and you'll get them with each update.

Held in confidence, always

Discretion is the work, not a footnote.

Few collections like yours are spoken about openly, often even within families.
The platform is built with that in mind, and so is the way we work with you.

Your data on your domain only

Nothing about your collection lives anywhere except your own private domain, in the jurisdiction of your collection. No shared platform, no central database, no aggregated reporting drawn across clients.

Never spoken about

A non-disclosure agreement is in place before any work begins, covering us and any specialists we bring in. No client list, no case studies, no social posts about who we work for, no requests for testimonials. We are here for you, not us.

Have a look for yourself

You collect on your own.
You don't need a passenger for a test drive.

View the platform, populated as if it were run by a real collector.
See for yourself whether it's the tool to help you.

Get in touch

A short conversation, no commitment.

Tell us a little about your collection and how you currently look after it. We'll come back with a sense of how we'd help and what it might look like. If it isn't the right fit, we'll say so.
